10:25 pm - Hey all, guess what?
http://www.myspace.com/drunkenpanda86

Yeah.

I made one. Took me long enough, right?

I'm a lazy fuck. =OP

Hopefully, in the next few days/weeks, I'll add more to it, like a song and background. . .once I figure out how to do that.

7:34 pm - For those of you who don't know. . .
Jess and I broke up.

It's been three years of ups and downs, and we've both come to the conclusion that our lives are just too different to stay together at this point. Jess needs to try to get her life together, as well as possibly moving closer to her friends, and I need the space and the freedom (Which is also why I'm moving out of my parent's house to be closer to my friends).

We're both still on excellent terms, however. And I'm going to remain her friend. We've discussed the possibility of an open door: if we're both still alone and unhappy in six months, maybe we'll give it another shot. As of now, though, we've taken our relationship as far as it can go.

I've heard a rumor that we're breaking up because Jess cheated on me. That's not true. Both of us have remained faithful the entire time. We still love each other and that will probably never change, regardless of who we end up with. No, it has everything to do with past mistakes, like moving too fast and completely bypassing the "dating" stage, and current situations, such as where we each need to take our lives and having different interests and friends.

So, now you all know. It's been rough, for the both of us, the last few days, but we've both accepted it as something we both need.

And thanks to everyone who's been supportive over the last few days, especially Keenan and Kevin. It's meant a lot to me.

11:49 pm - Out of the fridge, into the freezer!
SO. I'm going out of town tomorrow. Going back to the Big Apple (As I usually do one a year or so). I will be gone from tomorrow night until Monday afternoon. If you should need me for anything (What the fuck am I going to do for you while I'm freezing my ass off in New York?), I'll have. . .DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN, my cell. Number is 321-217-0105.

Have a fun weekend, d00dz and d00dettz!

PS. As a side note, I'm probably going to be getting a lot of work done on my WoD game while I'm up there. So, those of you that are involved with that. . .SOON. I promise.

3:46 pm - Heroes
So, I know a lot of you watch Heroes and I thought I'd share some rather depressing news with you.

Due to the Writer's Strike, NBC has had to refilm the "Volume 2" finale to make it a fully-fledged season finale. Season 2 will now end on December 3rd instead of in May and only be twelve episodes long. Also, due to the strike, the spin-off, Heroes: Origins, has been completely scrapped.

I'm kind of pissed off right now. Not at the writers, because they are in the right, but at the producers who are too money hungry to give the writers a share of the profits on DVD sales (The entire reason for the strike). Yeah. FUCK YOU, producers.

Also, this means that any shows scheduled to return in Spring won't unless the strike is resolved before then, including LOST and Battlestar: Galactica. BOOOOOOOOOO! >=O(

9:58 pm - The Ups and Downs of the Holiday Season
Another Halloween come and gone. And for the second year in a row. . .it just didn't feel like Halloween this year. I suppose that's partially my fault, being rather busy and broke, but what can you do? Next year, I'm hoping to really get festive. It all depends on time and my financial situation, though. But hey, if I still have my current job in a year, no worries!

Still, we have that other fall month left to go, November, where shitloads of games come out, the weather (hopefully) gets cooler. . .oh yeah, and that day where everybody gets to be a fatass! I love Fatass Day. . .I mean Thanksgiving. =OP

And after that. . .It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. And, unlike Halloween, I can always get into the festive mood when December rolls around. =OD Cookies, presents, cool weather, holiday music, Christmas parties and the inevitable New Year's Party! Should be good times!

1:44 pm - Another fucking expansion? BUT WITH DEATH KNIGHTS!
So, I haven't played WoW in about 5 months. Not really because there's nothing to do (My ass is still sitting at 60) but because I just couldn't muster up the energy.

But, now we're getting another fucking expansion? Except this time, we're fighting fucking ARTHAS with DEATH KNIGHTS. Those three words are enough for me to jump headlong into TBC and eagerly await the awesomeness that is Northrend.

Finished it this morning. Amazing end to the series. I'm rather sad now, knowing it's done, though.

SO! If anyone would like to discuss it, whether you finished the book yourself, read all the spoilers or want to know the spoilers, I can now do so.

Is this good? Bad? I've only seen the show a handful of times, and plan on picking it up on DVD, so I'm not sure on this one. . .

5:56 pm - . . .what?
So, apparently, Capcom is making a Street Fighter movie due out next year. Why didn't I hear about this until now? And better yet, didn't they learn there lesson last time?

To add more fuel to the fire, rumor is Chun Li will be played by. . .Jessica Biel. SHE'S NOT EVEN FREAKIN' ASIAN, MUCH LESS CHINESE! Sad part is. . .I'll probably still go and see this.

11:22 am - FUCKING GHOSTBUSTERS III ANNOUNCED!
Yeah, that's right.

They're finally making Ghostbusters III. I guess the game announcement made Dan Akyroyd finally get off his ass. Of course, the catch has always been Bill Murray.

Well, Dan found a loophole to get Bill to do it.

Ghostbusters III (Called Ghostbusters: Hellbent, based on Dan's old GB3 script) is going to be CG, with all the major cast members (Including Bill Murray) returning.

I'm excited, but disappointed, too. I mean, with the entire cast returning and it being based on the Hellbent script should make it good, and the CG makes it so they can do things that weren't possible in the first two movies. . .but its still CG.

Still, it's Ghostbusters III and I've enjoyed CG films in the past (And plan on enjoying the hell out of the new TMNT movie), so I'm looking forward to it.

EDIT: Oh, and since I'm talking about sequels to awesome 80s movies, Indiana Jones 4 has gotten a hard release date. May 22, 2008. So that's DEFINITELY happening now.

10:33 am - The Burning Crusade Review and Ghostbusters 360 Update
First, Burning Crusade.

TBC is spectacular. An incredibly smooth launch, the extra content is both gorgeous and highly addictive. I've only visited five of the new areas (Azuremyst, Eversong, Hellfire Peninsula, Zangramarsh and Terrokar Forest), but the detail in both the environments and quests are amazing, better than vanilla WoW content (And that's not just because its new). Both the Blood Elves and Draenei are a lot of fun and I hope to play both of them to 70 and beyond. Definitely the best expansion I've played for an MMO. Here's hoping that future WoW expansions continue to deliver like the Burning Crusade has done.

Second, Ghostbusters 360 is FUCKING REAL.

www.zootfly.com

Apparently, Zootfly is still trying to get the rights, but their entire team is going to be put on it as soon as they do.

I HOPE THIS GETS MADE!
